David Verhaeghe (°30-09-1976) is more than 15 years a loyal director of the public broadcast company VRT. He is known for his documentaries and human interest programs for channels as canvas, één and ketnet. He was nominated for Prix Europa TV Iris for his documentary 'Triq Slama Mohamed, travel in peace' about the Moroccan migration to Belgium. And with his authors documentary 'My Ras Tafari Roots', in cooperation with Offworld, he has achieved a wide network of national and international contacts.
Apart from the making of documentaries, David lost his heart to photography. From intimate portaits, to reportage and architectural photography, each time he catches the most beautiful light and creates an image that catches our attention.
